Scene 1:
The long day was winding up near the balcony, which was lost in a darkening sky. The city was eager to find a bed to sleep in, but the insecurity of striving to succeed in life wouldn't allow it. After all, it is a city where you and I stay alive. In the corner among broken pots with green plants and sprinkled water, the little cat is looking at you. It is neither passive nor aggressive. It is only silent.
Shot 1:
A silent shot. We do not know who is looking at whom - the cat or the camera - but both are curious. In this over-the-shoulder shot from the camera angle, a male hand holding a half-burnt cigarette can be seen.
Shot 2:
The cat slowly turns into a silhouette. One can hear a cute cat sound in the background. The doorbell rings.
Shot 3:
The hand and cigarette also vanish from the scene, as if the person got up to open the door.
Shot 4:
The scene continues, and neither the hand nor the cat is in the over-the-shoulder frame where there are no shoulders anymore. The dark sky has arrived at the balcony as it slowly but steadily wanders through the plants. You can hear the sound of a door getting shut. There is only one movement in the frame - darkness that is moving in.
Scene 2:
Shot 1:
The camera is now a witness. It looks at the cat walking along with female feet. The love is evident, the feet are bare. The cat tries to impress the feet as it follows them. They cross a door that passes a fridge and stop. The feet do not bother about the cat. The feet and the cat stop near a kitchen shelf.
Shot 2:
The camera is still only a witness. We can hear lots of utensils moving sounds. The cat is still staying next to the leg. It gets a bowl full of milk from a female hand with golden bangles and fingers adorned with three or four rings.
The doorbell rings.
The cat drinks milk.
The sound of the door opening can be heard.
One more pair of female feet appears in the frame.
Now, four female legs are moving around the cat that drinks milk.
The cat doesn't bother the legs.
The legs don't bother the cat.
Two feet belong to the master, and two feet belong to the servant.
The cat finishes the milk and walks out.
An empty bowl remains in the scene - silent and frozen among four passive feet.
Four female feet - one master's and the other servant's - both in the kitchen.
Shot 3:
The sound of a utensil falling into the sink is followed by the flow of water from a tap.
An empty bowl remains in the scene.
The camera is still a witness.
One is unsure who is mute -
The witness?
The camera?
The position?
The frame?
The empty cat's milk bowl, a sign of tender love and care?
Or
The story that can't speak about the story of a long lasted civilization.
